It took me a little over a year to write this review, but I just keep looking at the picture of me on my wall and it inspired me to actually do it. Carly is so warm, welcoming, and instantly makes you feel comfortable. Alex, the person who did my makeup, made me feel beautiful. The set itself is absolutely stunning, and the direction that Carly gives you helps you to feel confident. She was even kind enough to drive me from the studio to the street (which is are kinda far from each other) and let me wait for my uber in her car. “After I started seeing boudoir photoshoots come across my social media platforms, I became interested in the idea of booking a shoot of my own prior to my wedding. Although I knew this would be a great gift for my then fiancé, it also seemed like a very empowering experience for the person getting the pictures taken and I really liked that aspect of the shoot as well. I decided to schedule a consultation phone call with Carly to learn more about what would be involved with the shoot. Right from this initial conversation, Carly shared my idea that most importantly, this would be a fun, empowering experience for myself and secondly, I would have amazing pictures to gift to my husband on my wedding day. Initially, this was something that was outside of my comfort zone but Carly helped my confidence to shine throughout the entire process. The day of the shoot, I arrived at Carly’s beautiful home studio and got my hair and makeup done before taking the pictures. During the photoshoot, Carly told me exactly how to pose myself and pumped me up the entire time to make it a very comfortable, confidence-boosting experience. My husband was just as surprised as I was expecting him to be when I gave him the pictures the night of our wedding! I sat there on “reveal day” and couldn’t believe what I was looking at. It was the best (and sexiest!) version of myself. I never thought I could look like that in a photo and she made it all happen. A phenomenal experience from start to finish. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Whether as a gift for a loved one/partner, or simply a gift to yourself. I’d do this again in a heartbeat!

Carly is ABSOLUTELY amazing! She was extremely professional from the moment I was in contact with her to the moment I received my pictures. She makes you feel comfortable and welcomed into the studio, as if it was your own home. You forget you’re in front of the camera. She pays great attention to detail throughout the whole shoot and as she touches up the pictures (I saw the difference between my raw and touched up photos). I was there for my bridal shoot and will DEFINITELY go back for my pregnancy shoot (in the future). I can’t say enough positive comments about Carly Boudoir Photography! Highly recommended 🙂

I was drawn to Carly and her style/studio through her website and our first interaction. Her exceptional products, class, intuition, and connection were what drew me in. During our sessions, I appreciated how professional and reassuring she was. Like a lot of people, I was stepping out of my comfort zone with a boudoir session, but Carly’s encouragement and coaching put me at ease. Besides multiple photos and products I am thrilled with, two special things came from the experience: 1) looking past my own fatigue and flaws to see another side of me that is still genuinely me and 2) creating a unique and nearly impossible means to share intimacy with my husband who was deployed at the time.
